Realistic Pine Trees
Chuck West shared his innovative idea for beefing up the Woodland Scenics Pine Tree Armatures to make more realistic trees. I thought about enhancing the plastic tree mold to look realistic as possible. In the picture, from left to right: 1. Original flat plastic tree mold (armature) with its base. 2. Mold with cut off base, hand painted and placed snug in a natural hollow woody plant stem adding a drop of glue. 3. Applied glue and finished with foliage. Now we can make entire forests of pine trees.
